I am the Development Officer for Wingspan Life Resources--an organization that has served adults with developmental disabilities in the greater Twin Cities for over 40 years. I have organized "Team Andy" to raise pledges for this year's "Made In the Shade" Walk, Roll, Run at Thomas Beach at Lake Calhoun. I Chose "Team Andy" in honor of my brother Andy who has profound disabilities and has been served by a similar organization in Central New York for decades. Our family is so grateful for professionals who dedicate their lives to providing nurturing care. They are truly angels. You are welcome to come join us at Thomas Beach at Lake Calhoun and walk, or just come cheer people on that morning. Shotgun start is 10:15 A.M. There is free entertainment and free food.
