A Tribute to the Younger Generation and their Cats

The following story gives us heartwarming hope and a true sense of how important the human – animal bond can be for shaping the future generation.


Dear Crossroads, My name is Shannon, I’m writing you this letter because I just wanted to say “Thank You!” for saving and giving animals a chance to find their home-away-from home instead of just putting them down because I believe that everyone deserves a chance to find their home-away-from-home including animals. I’d also like to “Thank You” because you saved my best friend Lewis! I love him so so much. When I’m older I want to work with animals some how like becoming a veterinarian or working at an animal shelter. Mom says I have to wait until I’m older because I’m only 10 years old. I love animals! Anyways just to let you know I also sent you guys some pictures of my buddy Lewis and again “Thank You”! Sincerely, Shannon and Lewis too

    I was a volunteer at Crossroads. Unfortunately my class sched. prevented me from continuing. What a great group of people! I miss seeing and caring for the animals. I hope they all find good homes.

    Absolutely love Misty (Mistletoe) we adopted from this shelter. She was there for 9 months and she's been a joy for the 3 years we've had her!

    Your Angels you took Maxx in and kept him for 4 months, he was waiting for us !!!!! Thanks for taking in the older animals they will find homes Maxx was living proof.
