Creating a better life for some of Minnesota's Vulnerable adults.

Let me start out by saying I work in a wonderful field and for a wonderful company called "Wingspan Life Resources". I am very proud to be part of a organization and society that helps and develpoes our people with disabilities to live and grow with in their communities. People with disabilites are our most vulnerable people in todays world they need staff who are caring, loving, trustworthy, understanding, and most of all dedicated to helping them in their lives.

I've worked in the field over 19yrs. and have come to know some very special people. I've also changed some lives for the betterment of the people I've served . I work along the side of some pretty special Direct Care Professionals, Superviors, Directors, Program Managers, day placement facilitators that are all obligated to their jobs and the people they serve. I work with men and women who put fourth that extra mile to make residents smile. People who sometimes forget their own lives once entering this one. Staff that are truly dedicated to the lives of others and reassuring them that they can live a normal life just like you and I.

With your donation a senior can go out to a thift store and catch a bargin.

With your donation no matter how great nor small someone's frown can turn into a smile.

With your donation someone will be able to take a vacation to see the Ocean, recieve piano lessions, buy a coat or go to camp or something simple like start a garden, buy a new bed, or just a deck of cards. I've seen the smallest gift bring the largest smile you'll ever want to see. I now know what my calling is, it is making life easier and making a difference for those who can not themselves, being an advocate, a counselor, a teacher, a nurse, a psychologist, a financial worker, a sister, a dream catcher, a role model and most of all a FRIEND!!!!!!!
