N.I.P. Counseling Center

In 1973, the Neighborhood Involvement Program (N.I.P.) opened the Counseling Center to help people with general mental health issues. In 2008, the Counseling Center expanded its focus and physical location by opening an office in North Minneapolis to serve children, adolescents and their families. Clients typically present a variety of issues in therapy including depression, anxiety, intimacy and relationships, family problems, life goals and career planning, sexual orientation, grief and loss, self-esteem, and support for making life changes.
