Classroom Plus

Through BestPrep's Classroom Plus program, teachers are able to have speakers from the business world come into their classrooms to enrich their curriculum and provide professional role models for their students. These speakers make the knowledge they have learned from textbooks come alive. All Minnesota classrooms, teachers, and students are eligible to participate in this free service. The Classroom Plus staff coordinates volunteers from business, labor, and government to give classroom presentations on a variety of topics. Each year, more than 750 volunteers across Minnesota provide customized and interactive presentations to enrich a variety of subjects from social studies and career education to business, economics, and marketing. During the 2010-2011 school year, Classroom Plus reached more than 32,000 students. Financial support of Classroom Plus will help BestPrep increase the outreach of the program and provide the service to more schools, teachers and students.
