Classical Actors Ensemble

Classical Actors Ensemble is dedicated to entertaining and affecting audiences through staging the plays of the English Renaissance in the spirit of their original productions, which were immediate, passionate, and accessible. To that end, we have presented four free public readings: King John (March 2009), Coriolanus (June 2009), All’s Well That Ends Well (August 2009), and Henry IV parts 1 & 2 (January 2010); a multi-artist collaborative fundraiser: The Complete Sonnets Festival (May 2010); two fully-staged plays: ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore by John Ford (November 2010), and All’s Well That Ends Well (May 2011); and presented in-class residences about playing Shakespeare at Paynesville High School and Macalester College.

One hundred percent of donations received on Give MN will go towards funding CAE's development and future productions.
