Plans are in place for the 2010 Merchants Bank Christian Elder Memorial 900, a cross country charity bicycle ride benefiting Kids N’ Kinship, a Dakota County Minnesota mentorship organization.
The ride includes its first female participant, Kathy Kelly , and will cover a route traveling country roads primarily in Iowa where the riders will visit six minor league ballparks.
Returning riders include John Elder, Dennis Hill, Bob Benda, Jay Saterbak and Bob Porter. For the fifth consecutive year Gordy Clough will serve as the support driver.
The ride will begin May 27 in Davenport , Iowa , and finish June 12 at Merchants Bank in Apple Valley , Minnesota .
All donations are received and receipted by Razoo Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) charity that operates a donor advised fund to fulfill donor advisements.
