The Chippewa Valley Youth Club in Montevideo is a program of the Boys and Girls Club of Watertown.
Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, caring citizens.
The program is open to all youth from kindergarten to 7th grade and the cost is $20 per month.
Each child that walks through the doors of the Chippewa Valley Youth Club has a unique future. One may come from a loving family home. One may speak little English. One may not have any sense of belonging. It is our job to give each child a real sense of hope and opportunity. A sense that they can be whatever they dream to be. We will work to help each child reach their individual potential and we will carry out our mission with care.
To help these children reach their goals, we will focus on three key areas: Learn, Play, Belong. Through every activity the members will learn something, gain life skills they will need every day, or focus on their physical well being. Youth that come to the program will have a place to complete their homework, have the opportunity for exercise, an opportunity to participate in an arts or crafts project, and learn the skills they will need to become productive members of our community. This process is what we call the success equation.
