Because of your support, the Charities Review Council is able to build more trustworthy and accountable nonprofits. Council staff work closely with nonprofits that voluntarily participate in our review process by providing the resources, education, and one-on-one guidance to aid the organization in earning our Meets Standards seal.

More than 400 nonprofit organizations have earned our Meets Standards seal, but hundreds more have yet to participate in our review process.

Results from Give to the Max Day 2011
Thank you so much to all who participated in this year’s Give to the Max Day (or as we called it around the office, Mustache to the Max Day).

We experienced unprecedented success during this year’s Great Minnesota Give Together, bringing in more than $10,500 from 90 donors – a 25% increase over last year. As a result of the generosity of donors, we have received a matching gift in the amount of $10,000 from an anonymous group of donors. Thank you for your part in making that happen. We are exceedingly grateful to be surrounded by such a supportive and generous community.
