Central Care for Children

WHEN VERY YOUNG CHILDREN NEED A SAFE SECURE AND ENRICHING ENVIRONMENT, WHILE THEIR PARENTS WORK TO MAKE THEIR FAMILY SELF SUFFICIENT...THEY COME TO UCAM'S CENTRAL CARE FOR CHILDREN.

Central Care for Children (CCC) is a licensed inner-city child development center, providing support to the entire family. The intellectual, emotional and social growth of very young children is the core of the CCC services, which focus on early literacy and language development, increasing school readiness, and providing life-enrichment experiences. We aim to support the child, family and community at large by providing quality affordable childcare in a safe and nurturing environment.

OUR STAFF includes two co-directors (real life sisters!), teachers, assistant teachers, aides and volunteers. We pride ourselves on our high staff retention, many of whom have been with us for over a decade. At Central Care we are a close knit “family” of dedicated professionals with a wide variety of backgrounds. We look not only to educate, but to nurture children for a successful future.

OUR CENTER. We were lucky enough to be able to design and build our current space specifically for childcare needs. We have three main classrooms: Infant, Toddler and Preschool, as well as a “large muscle” room, spacious enclosed outdoor playground and a multimedia area.
