Fight the good fight! Become a Warrior for Wellbeing!

I am proud to report that 2012 was a significant year for the Center’s Wellbeing Initiative. We look back on our achievements with gratitude. We were able to engage our community in a movement towards Wellbeing like never before. For us to continue this pertinent work, your support is essential!

Some highlights from the Wellbeing Initiative’s launch year include:

  • Walter Willett, MD PhD informed guests about new ways to achieve a balanced diet and engaged them with easy-to-remember nutrition tips at his Health and Diet: A Progress Report lecture.

  • Barbara Fredrickson, PhD is an internationally-regarded researcher in the fields of positive psychology and her comments were well-received at The Science of Positivity.

  • Brene Brown, PhD presented Wired for Connection: Exploring the Relationship between Vulnerability, Worthiness, Health and Well-being in November to a sold-out crowd.

In 2013, we’re launching a bold mission to bring together those who are passionate about wellbeing. While are gifts are much appreciated, a gift of $100 or more will make you a Warrior for Wellbeing. Warriors for Wellbeing will receive several benefits including priority seating at Wellbeing events.
