CARE AND SHARE INC

Care & Share not only provides food, shelter, and basic necessities to individuals experiencing homelessness, but through case management, addresses life skills, employment, disabilities, criminal history, physical/mental health concerns, legal needs, and other issues as an individual or family works toward obtaining or maintaining permanent housing. Care & Share utilizes a client centered approach and does not place a time limit on the length of stay at the shelter so long as the client is working towards his/her personal growth and following the rules.

Care and Share not only provides services to individuals experiencing homelessness, Care and Share also provides a range of services to those in the community who are at risk of losing housing and/or are struggling financially. Often times, people served have incomes that place them on the edge of poverty. By offering resources that are geared to meet individual needs, Care & Share works to prevent an episode of homelessness.

Through a multitude of services and programs, Care & Share offers on-going emotional support to clients, as well as a connection to resources that are unique to the agency, including:
Emergency Food Shelf
Soup Kitchen
Educational Resources
Thrift Shoppe
Diaper Program
Transportation resources (limited)
Support for homeless prevention
Back-to-School Program (school supplies)
Christmas gifts
