Now in its fourteenth year, Cantus is one of only two full-time professional male vocal ensembles in this country. Cantus makes their home in the Twin Cities and tours nationally and internationally each year. Fanfare Magazine recently named Cantus “the premiere men’s vocal ensemble in the United States" and this past summer, the ensemble was recognized with the Margaret Hillis Award for excellence by ChorusAmerica.
Cantus serves its audience through a home concert season each year, collaborations with Twin Cities’ arts organizations, an active national touring schedule, recordings, published music and coaching and mentoring choirs of all ages.
