The Chicago Avenue Fire Arts Center is committed to making its programs available to anyone with an interest, from absolute beginners to established artists. We strive to provide a welcoming and supportive learning environment, where students are free to explore their creativity and given the tools to hone their technical skills.
In order to ensure that our classes are accessible to all, we've made establishing a scholarship fund a high priority since we opened our doors in 2010. To date, about 10% of our students have received tuition assistance, and we'd like to ensure that we can continue to provide this kind of support.
We offer scholarships of 50% or 75% of class tuition for learners who meet the income guidelines. In the past year, 21 students have qualified. We're proud to have been able to provide these opportunities to students who otherwise would not have been able to afford them.
We need to replenish our scholarshp fund and you can help! When you make a donation to this project, your gift will be designated to assist future students participate in CAFAC classes.
All donations are received and receipted by Razoo Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) charity that operates a donor advised fund to fulfill donor advisements.
