"Kid's Choice" A Summer Grocery Program

Kid's Choice would like to help relieve stress for those kids that may worry about where their next meal will come from now that summer vacation is here and they no longer get free and reduced lunches that were provided by the school during the school year. Many children are not as excited about summer vacation as others because being out of school means there are no breakfasts and lunches provided. There are many families that don't have enough to eat during these hard economic times and now that summer is here that means more of a strain on finances to have enough food for the kids now that they are home full time. Kid's Choice is making a difference in many families by getting more food into their homes during the summer months. We are trying to keep "kid friendly" foods at our food shelf to offer to the kids during special distribution times. We stretch every donation dollar by buying through the food banks. Your donation will help us keep food on our shelves so that many school-aged kids can have food on their plates during the summer. Thanks for helping us help others!

As a special project through Hunger Soluntions MN, we will benefit from your donation even more in July. The "Open Your Heart Challenge Grant" will provide us with incentive allocations for the Kid's Choice program. The more donations brought into our food shelf, the more of the incentive we will receive!
