Brotherhood Inc Matching Challenge
A project of YOUTHPRISE
This is a matching challenge for Brotherhood, Inc. in honor of Black History Month and their important work. Up to $2,000 is doubled!
In honor of Black History Month Youthprise is recognizing two organizations that are doing innovative work in the African American communities of the Twin Cities. We have selected Brotherhood, Inc to be the recipient of a matching grant challenge – for every $1 raised Youthprise will match that gift with $1 for up to $2,000. That means that the money you donate to this important organization will be doubled when you donate to this page!
Brotherhood, Inc. is an organization that seeks to uplift and empower young African American males, ages 16-24, who have had contact with the criminal justice system or gangs, or who are at risk of such involvement. Brotherhood, Inc. is a comprehensive reentry and prevention program that strives to take a holistic approach by providing culturally-sensitive social services, educational opportunities and on-site employment for participants through the creation of social enterprises.
This challenge will last until March 18th so please forward to friends, family and social networks and help make every penny you give count!
*Brotherhood, Inc. is a key partner for our Black History Month Events Renewing Hope in the Promise of Minnesota's Youth. More info can be found on our website: www.youthprise.org.
