Could you choose between food and rent?
People right in your neighborhood have to make hard choices like this every day. An unexpected job loss or injury can result in homelessness and hunger if someone is not there to stand in the gap during times of trouble.
VEAP Food Program
The VEAP Food Program aims to prevent hunger and ultimately support the stability of low-income working individuals and families, seniors and disabled individuals on fixed incomes, and people in times of crisis due to job loss, medical problems, or personal disaster.
The program includes a Food Pantry and a Holiday Food Program. The Food Pantry provides a seven day supply of food once every thirty-days and the Holiday Food Programs provide Thanksgiving and Winter Holiday groceries or grocery certificates; and hot meals delivered to homebound seniors or disabled adults on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
All donations are received and receipted by Razoo Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) charity that operates a donor advised fund to fulfill donor advisements.
