BLOOMINGTON CHORALE INC

The Bloomington Chorale offers and inclusive and vibrant choral community for singers and audiences alike throughout the Twin Cities community, enabling singers and audiences the chance to be transformed by the beauty and power of choral singing. The Bloomington Chorale is a benefit to the community. Audience members are able to enjoy quality musical performances of great choral works without the expense and difficulty in getting to other venues. Parking is free and plentiful and ticket prices are kept intentionally low so that more community members can afford the concert experience. In fact, occasionally the Chorale offers special performances at discounted rates or even free for retirees and the unemployed. In addition to providing benefits to the community, the Bloomington Chorale accepts all singers wishing to participate as a member of the Chorale. Whereas many choruses restrict their membership to a limited number of voices, and only those passing an audition process, all willing singers are accepted in the Bloomington Chorale. All are welcomed into a musical community where they gain friendships, learn music and vocal technique as well as experience the beauty and power of choral singing. Our singers benefit from the many health enhancements that come from singing choral music. Research repeatedly supports the improved physical health and emotional well-being of persons who sing in choirs.
