Beyond Ballroom Dance Company was founded by competitive ballroom dance champions dedicated to presenting ballroom dance as an art form rather than a sport. The company creates innovative productions that stretch the boundaries of this traditional dance form. The Minneapolis Star Tribune called BBDC, "an eye-opening look at what ballroom dance in the 21st century can be". Our educational outreach programming offers school matinees, free shows, and workshops for students of all ages and abilities. We have partnered with other non-profit organizations such as Project SUCCESS and Blind, Inc. to provide theater and education opportunities.
