  • Auggie TRiO students studying. Over 40% of Augsburg's first-year class are first-generation college students.
  • Nearly 1,000 students live on campus.
  • The Augsburg wrestling team has won 11 NCAA Division III national championships.
  • Auggie cheerleaders cheer for the football team during Homecoming.
  • Every year during Homecoming, Auggies are treated to a fireworks display above Murphy Park.
  • Old Main, Augsburg's oldest building, dating back to 1872.

Our goal is to educate students to be informed citizens, thoughtful stewards, critical thinkers and responsible leaders. The Augsburg experience is supported by an engaged community that is committed to intentional diversity in its life and work. An Augsburg education is defined by excellence in the liberal arts and professional studies, guided by the faith and values of the Lutheran church, and shaped by its urban and global settings.

    I was just at the MOA to appear for my employer on GTTM Day and ended up telling the reps from another nonprofit about how wonderful the MAL Program is at Augsburg and that they should connect with it. The MAL program made a difference in my life. Thanks, Augsburg.

    I continue to stay connected with Augsburg through volunteering. I serve on the advisory board for Augsburg Women Engaged (AWE) and I share my marketing and PR career experience with students in the classroom. I treasure the friendships I made as an Augsburg student and as a volunteer.
