Our missions is to improve conditions and create opportunities for changing the cycle of poverty and disease in South Africa.

The extent of malnutrition in South Africa is far worse than most people realize. Your contribution makes a difference to people who have been marginalized through a history of Apartheid. 90 families receive food three times a year through the Arm in Arm in Africa emergency food distribution program.

The emergency food aid is in the form of large portions of rice, sugar, mealie meal, samp, flour, cooking oil and beans; helping families concentrate on essentials such as shelter, clothing and school supplies for children. The people of Malungeni are eternally grateful and appreciate your support.

    My husband, Gary and I have had the opportunity to twice travel to South Africa. We have witnessed the incredible work being done to help the poor. We have seen Arm in Arm in Africa in action.

    Arm In Arm In Africa is expanding their program to aid an extremely poor village of 3,000 in South Africa which has no electricity, sanitation,or public transportation. There are two fresh water taps for the entire village. AIAIA will be supporting a lunch/bread program for preschoolers.

    Sue and I had the wonderful opportunity to go to South Africa in early 2008 and see first hand some of the difficult problems. We also were able to see the wonderful work being done by Arm in Arm in Africa.
