Civic Media is a non-profit organization committed to creating public affairs media that informs and engages citizens in movements for community empowerment and social justice.

Our flagship program, TruthToTell is a volunteer organization, and most of our production work is done for free. Your tax-deductible donation of $25, $50 and $100 will help pay stipends for student interns, compensate our professional crew and camera vendors, and upgrade and maintain a high quality web site.

We plan to expand the conversation through:

• Statewide (and wider) syndication opportunities through public and Native facilities
• Online public affairs video publication and short-form clips distributed through YouTube
• Public access and community television programming partnership.
• Collaborative productions with our community radio partners in Greater Minnesota
• Creation of a CivicMedia/Minnesota internship program

Since 2006, TruthToTell, has provided a platform for over 400 community activists and policy innovators to explore critical issues facing our communities. From environmental sustainability to racial justice; from election reform to labor rights; from the global diaspora to neighborhood organizing, TruthToTell has amplified voices all too often ignored in the mainstream media.
