Your support impacts current and future students, and maintains Alexandria Public School's tradition of excellence in education.

  • Mobile computer lab supports students in writing, math, guided reading, test prep, & the accelerated reader program.
  • Phonics Program to serve at-risk readers at a second grade level.
  • SMART Response interactive response systems enable teachers to increase student engagement and improve learning outcomes
  • WCIF manages our fund providing a full range of planned giving vehicles and access to gift planning assistance to donors

We carry out our mission by awarding grants that will enable teachers to implement creative and innovative educational programs in their classrooms.

Students district-wide have benefitted from projects funded through the Teacher Grants program. Examples include the following:

  • Technology equipment
  • Literacy enrichment and intervention programs and equipment
  • Materials for math, reading & writing improvement
  • Science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs

Thanks to the support of generous donors like yourself, the Foundation has been able to award over $55,000 to support Teacher Innovation!
