Albert Lea Area Youth For Christ, The Rock

Thank you so much for your partnership with us in reaching out to youth, loving them, speaking truth to them, listening to them and pointing them to Jesus. We are certainly in the middle of a battle that is being waged over those that are lost and without hope. The enemy also desires to lead astray those who know Jesus. We value your prayers a great deal and ask you to continue to pray for the youth, staff, volunteers, donors, and leadership of the organization and the church at large.
I would like to share with you about one of the grade school boys usually runs up for a hug each day I see him, the connect is of utmost importance to him. Sometimes no words are ever spoken and he is on to the next game or activity but the language of love is communicated. His Dad came up when he was a teenager and now he comes. Maybe I’m like an extra Grandfather to him as some of the kids have started calling Rick and I Grandpa. Regardless of the reason love is given. Sometimes the love that is given is in the form of correction for bad behavior. We live life with young people in the context of loving relationships working to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus. Thank you for walking with us in this journey of love. God Bless you today in your walk of faith in Jesus.
