ACCESS OF THE RED RIVER VALLEY INC

Determined to keep their children out of institutional care in 1984, a group of concerned parents initiated a grass-roots effort to keep their children with disabilities in private homes and in community settings. Building on that foundation of assisting all individuals in their right to dignified, independent lives in the community, Access continues to grow and offer innovative and caring programs for individuals with a variety of disabilities. With the caring staff at Access, we offer a lifetime of impact.

The Michael W. Czichotzki Fund

Michael was born November 12, 1971 in Fargo, ND to Mark and LaVerne (Wee) Czichotzki. He grew up and attended school in Moorhead, graduating in 1993. Since the age of 13, Michael received residential services from Access of the Red River Valley. Michael faced many challenges throughout his life and met them with the help and support of Access of the Red River Valley advocates and staff. He touched many lives and hearts and will be dearly missed.

A memorial has been established in his honor. Gifts and donations to The Michael W. Czichotzki Fund will be used towards the Michael W. Czichotzki Learning Center and all the services, activities and projects provided there.
