Access & Equity Pooled Scholarship Fund

The Access & Equity Scholarship Fund is a scholarship fund for students with demonstrated financial need who are:

- Students of Color

- New Americans

- First Generation Students (the first in their family to pursue a college education)

These are the students that reflect the fastest growing populations in our state. Currently, one of every seven students attending Minnesota’s private colleges are the first member of their family to attend college. Additionally, more than 14 percent of our students are students of color. The Access & Equity Scholarship Fund is designed to foster further growth in these student populations.

The Minnesota Private College Fund Pooled Scholarships were established to address emerging and growing scholarship needs.

These scholarships are awarded directly through campus financial aid offices to recipients who meet the scholarship’s designated criteria.

Pooled scholarships are sponsored by a collective of donors who contribute at varying levels to create the scholarship fund pool.

Scholarship gifts allow Minnesota’s private colleges to build strong financial aid packages for students with demonstrated financial need as well as those historically underrepresented in higher education.
