5k9 Run on June 12th

I began volunteering with Pet Haven shortly after moving to the Twin Cities last year. Pet Haven is an all volunteer foster-based rescue that has been making a difference in the lives of companion animals since 1952.

I am truly inspired by the stories of the pets we take in to Pet Haven and by the volunteers that open their hearts and their homes to save these animals and give them a second chance at life

Also, check out the list of adoptable dogs and cats, including Scout who is shown above. Scout is a 6-year old lab mix who was adopted through Pet Haven several years ago, but recently returned by the owner. (That's another great thing about Pet Haven....they will always take a Pet Haven dog back into their foster program, no matter how long it has been since they were adopted). Scout is energetic, playful and eager to please his owners. A great companion dog!
