As of March 8 we have raised $16,000 for low-income taxpayer preparation. Access to quality tax preparation is crucial for low-income individuals as they particularly benefit from tax credits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Renter's Credit. Without organizations like AccountAbility MN, those taxpayers may not be aware that these credits exist.
