Signing Up
1. Do I need to sign up for an account in order to make a donation?
No, you do not need to sign up for an account in order to make a donation. However, we encourage you to create a personal account so that you can manage your donations, schedule giving and stay updated on your favorite organizations.
2. How do I sign-up?
Sign up here or click the “Log In” link at the top of any page to sign up. You can also use your Facebook account to login to GiveMN .
Forgot Sign-In Information
1. I don't remember my username/password.
You may input your email address if you don't remember your username. Click here to reset your password.
Editing Personal Information/Account Settings:
1. How do I change my personal information?
You can view or edit your personal information under the "My Account" tab. Then click on "Settings," where you can change your account information.
2. How do I unsubscribe from your distribution?
If you would like to unsubscribe from our email distribution, login to your account, go to “Account” then “Settings.” Under “Your Donor Information” you may edit your communication settings.
Security:
1. Is my personal information safe?
Yes, we take privacy and data security very seriously. We use the industry leader, Verisign, for SSL certification. In the course of a donation, your transaction information will be shared with Network for Good, which processes your donation, and with the nonprofit that receives your donation. However, we will never share your personal information, donation activity, or e-mail address with any other organization or individual without your express permission.
Facebook Connect
1. What is Facebook Connect?
Facebook Connect is an easy way for members of Facebook to join GiveMN . Once you're connected, you can use your Facebook email and password to log in to GiveMN . You can connect through Facebook even if you've already set up a GiveMN account. For more information on this feature, you may want to check out this post by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
2. How do I use Facebook Connect on GiveMN ?
Click on "Connect with Facebook," then let Facebook know that it's okay for GiveMN to have limited access to your profile (to verify your identity when you come to the site). Sign into Facebook, click "Allow", and then tell us if you are a new user or if you would like to link to an existing GiveMN account (if you did not already login to GiveMN ).
