How it Worked

On November 14th, our communities came together for 24 hours of online giving. Every donation you made during Give to the Max Day 2013 helped to qualify your nonprofit or school for prize money and awards, furthering the impact of your donation.

There are several ways your donation went further on Give to the Max Day.

Leaderboard prize grants – nonprofits which raised the most dollars earned a spot on one of the four leaderboards. There are prize grants for each of the top 10 spots on all leaderboards. Prizes are as follows: 1st place - $10,000; 2nd place - $7,500; 3rd place - $5,000; 4th place - $2,500; 5th place - $1,000 and 6th-10 th place - $500.

Golden Tickets – One nonprofit donor and one K-12 public schools donor was randomly chosen every hour to have $1,000 added to their donation. One nonprofit donor and one K-12 public schools donor was also selected randomly from throughout the 24 hours of giving to have $10,000 added to their donation!

Power Hours – Five nonprofits and schools that raised the most money during each of five power hours won a $1,000 prize grant.

Matching Grants – Hundreds of nonprofits and schools offered a dollar-for-dollar match so you could double your donation.
